Shortcuts and Preferences
Keyboard shortcuts
Studio doesn't let a plugin set default key bindings, so Flow's shortcuts start unbound. Assign them once under File → Advanced → Customize Shortcuts, in the Flow Sequencer section. These are the suggested keys:
| Action | Suggested key |
|---|---|
| Play / Pause | Space |
| Stop Preview (clears the selection when nothing is previewing) | Escape |
| Step Back / Forward One Frame | Left / Right |
| Step Back / Forward Ten Frames | Shift+Left / Shift+Right |
| Go to Start / End of the playback range | Home / End |
| Key Selected Parameters | K |
| Delete Selection | Delete |
| Fit Sequence to View | F |
| Toggle Snapping | S |
The Shortcuts button in the editor's status bar shows the same list. A shortcut only acts when the editor is focused or under the cursor, and never while you are typing in a text field.
Mouse controls

| Rename a section | Double-click it |
| Move or resize a section | Drag its body or edges; drag up or down to change sub-row |

Preferences
The Preferences button in the status bar opens your editor preferences. They belong to you rather than to the place, so they follow you between places.
- Snap to sets the grid: Frames, the sequence's frame rate, or Ruler ticks (follows zoom), which coarsens as you zoom out and refines as you zoom in.
- Snap radius is how close, in pixels, a drag has to come to a section edge or the playhead before it snaps there. The default is 8.
Other editor state, such as the sequence you had open and which folders are folded, is remembered per place.
